    Good suggestions. I’ve often wondered if the opposite essay has ever been written,
    like, how to drive a car near cyclists. (rule #1, never blow your horn when approaching from behind, etc.)

    I’ve never seen one. Although – given the number of cars on the road and the state of continuing driving education, I think it’s extremely unlikely that any given person who could hit you will have read it.
